We
do not review digital cameras on this site, beyond those that we
personally use. There are many websites that already do this, as
well as a huge range of photography magazines. Instead we try and
look at digital cameras and associated matters from a users point of
view. Please see Recommended

Image
Editing & Manipulation
Throughout
the pages on this site we use the Photoshop image editing program to
illustrate image manipulation techniques. This is not however the
full and expensive Photoshop CS2, but the more modest Elements. As
there are a considerable number of image editing programs available
that digital camera users employ, it would not be feasible to
feature or refer to them all. As Photoshop/Elements is the best
known, and according to surveys, the most widely used image editing
programs, we feel it is best to stick to using it for illustrations.
If you use another editor you will have to modify any techniques
shown on our pages to suit your editor as best you can. Many work
along very similar lines with similar tools.
